As the IZTECH Music Science Society, we successfully held the first event of our “Music Science Seminars” series, titled “Conversation and Recital on Instrument Making.” We were honored to host Assoc. Prof. Dr. Engin Topuzkanamış, Head of the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Law at Dokuz Eylül University and an accomplished instrument maker.

During the recital, Engin Topuzkanamış performed on the guitar, kopuz, oğur sazı, and cümbüş. He was accompanied by İsmet Ülger on the fretless guitar and guitar, and Burak Kahyaoğlu on the kanun.
